Marthinus Henning - TikTok

Our very first outreach was for Marthinus Henning. We met his father Pieter Henning just after launching PHM on TikTok.

Marthinus was adopted by Pieter as an infant. Marthinus is diagnosed with genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome. This disorder causes delayed development, problems with speech and balance, intellectual disability and sometimes seizures.

Pieter approached us because his Marthinus has one bike specifically made for him. This is the only exercise he receives. Unfortunately the handle broke off. 

​

We went on TikTok live and reached out to our viewers. Within 30 minutes it was all arranged by followers to have the bicycle collected and repaired. Thank you to all of you out there that helped Marthinus!
